Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you book an event, we collect your full name, email address and phone number, and for each child: full name, date of birth, whether they're a current Mathnasium student, school/grade, any allergies, medical or dietary notes, and an emergency contact if different from you.

How we use it

To process your booking and payment, run the event safely (including catering for allergies/medical needs and reaching an emergency contact if needed), send you a booking confirmation, and let our centre staff manage attendance. If you've opted in, we may also use your email to let you know about future Mathnasium events — you can opt out at any time.

Keeping children's information extra safe

Allergy and medical notes are encrypted before they're stored and are only ever visible to authorised Mathnasium staff — never included in marketing, analytics or exported reports. See our Terms & Conditions for our photography and video policy.

Who we share it with

• Stripe processes your payment. We never see or store your full card details.
• Resend delivers your booking confirmation and related emails on our behalf.
• Google Sheets is used internally by centre staff to manage attendance — never shared publicly, and never includes allergy/medical or emergency contact details.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) receives a securely hashed (non-reversible) version of your email address so we can measure how well our advertising is working. We never send any information about your child to Meta.

How long we keep it

We retain booking information for as long as reasonably necessary for event administration, accounting and legal record-keeping purposes. A specific retention schedule is still being finalised.

Your rights & contact

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to opt out of marketing emails, at any time by contacting your Mathnasium centre — details are in the footer below.
